IMMERSIVE BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR
Go behind the scenes at the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary on an exclusive 2.5 hour guided tour and experience the magic of Australian wildlife like never before! This rare opportunity grants you access to a working wildlife sanctuary not open to the public, where you’ll be led by your very own personal keeper to meet and interact with a diverse array of rescued native animals who call the sanctuary home.
Get up close to wombats, kangaroos, emus, dingoes, possums, gliders, flying foxes, reptiles, amphibians, and an incredible variety of bird species - including the striking red-tailed black cockatoo and our rare white kookaburra, Casper. Hear their inspiring rescue stories, learn fascinating facts about each species and the challenges they face in the wild, and enjoy unforgettable hands-on experiences, including hand-feeding. Plus, discover the sanctuary’s vital conservation efforts and ambitious plans for the future. As a not-for-profit charity, every visit directly supports the rescue, rehabilitation, and protection of Australia’s precious wildlife.
Booking Conditions

Minimum of two paying guests per booking for a tour to run.

All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Bookings are strictly limited and subject to availability.

Tours run for approximately 2.5 hours.

Tours must be pre-booked with at least one-week’s notice.

Tours are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled or re-scheduled due to heavy rain or extreme heat.

Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours before a tour will receive a credit voucher to be used toward a future booking. Unfortunately refunds are unable to be issued for late cancellations.
Price
Adults: $219 per person
Children (4-12 years): $169 per person
Infant (Under 4): Free

Our behind the scenes tours are recommended for children 6 years and older. The tour takes place across a working wildlife sanctuary and the environment is not suited to very young children and toddlers.
